Precision Chroma is a spin-off company based at the University of Canterbury | Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha. We have dedicated over 10 years in the design and development of our unique, patented 3D printed chromatography columns. Working with industry, we are now tailoring this disruptive technology to reach global markets and lead the way in next generation chromatography.

Partnering with us

Precision Chroma is working in partnership with the University of Canterbury, New Zealand's second oldest university, founded in Christchurch in 1873. The Research & Innovation Office is focused on bringing research and innovation in all disciplines of science to commercialisation, working in partnership with investment firms. The research leading to Precision Chroma was funded by a Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Endeavour Research Programme grant titled 3D printed porous media for process engineering and hosted by the University of Canterbury’s Biomolecular Interaction Centre.
